The society exists to promote and present concerts of chamber music in York, England.
The complete programme for the 2009-10 season features six concerts. Tickets are available by subscription for the season, or for individual concerts - it is possible to reserve tickets online for collection at the door.
Benefactors and Patrons
The BMS manages to maintain the high standard of
its concerts largely through the generosity of its

Society, many of them covenanted, we could not hope
to balance our books.
